Beginnings

Originally functioning as a Marketplace Navigator Organization funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Insure Georgia played a critical role in guiding residents through healthcare options. Despite the reduction of government funding in 2018, the need for guidance in finding affordable healthcare persisted among residents. To continue meeting this need, Insure Georgia transformed into the state’s first nonprofit insurance agency. This change allows us to keep providing vital assistance to those in need of affordable healthcare coverage.

Insure Georgia is unbiased and nonpartisan, firmly believing that access to quality affordable healthcare transcends political boundaries. Insure Georgia actively supports the achievements of the Affordable Care Act, while also constructively addressing its limitations. Moreover, Insure Georgia’s expertise extends to assisting with Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplements, and Medicare Drug programs. The goal is to ensure you have access to all available options for affordable healthcare in Georgia.
