Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day
Stage 4 breast cancer is referred to as advanced breast cancer, or metastatic breast cancer. This is when breast cancer has in fact spread to other parts of the body, regardless of where it is. Breast cancer can metastasize in any part of the body, but it most commonly spreads to the bones, lungs, liver, or the brain.
